The Sheelagh na Gig - Mother or destroyer? She displays her most intimate parts to scare away death. You may find an image of this Celtic image hidden in many a medieval British church. Usually defaced or covered up she is hard to find but most always present.
This pendant bead measures 32mm tall x 26mm wide and is 15 mm thick with a 3mm hole passing horizontally through the head from side to side. (1-1/4" tall x 1" wide x 9/16" thick with a 1/8" hole)
Handmade with REAL EARTHENWARE CLAY (not plastic or polymer clay) and fired to 1900 degrees Farenheit. Produced by myself from my own original molds. You cannot get these anywhere else because I'm the only one that makes them.
All my beads are doublesided, the same image on both sides.
I hate it when you wear a piece of jewelry that always flips around and all you see is the back.
